System Architecture, Design, and Optimization of a Flexible Wireless Charger for Renewable Energy-Powered Electric Bicycles

Wireless power transmission (WPT) is one of the breakthroughs in effortless electric vehicle (EV) charging technology. Different types wireless charger topologies were proposed and implemented to meet various constraints like transfer efficiency, distance, misalignment tolerance. Yet coupling separation efficiency are still underdeveloped for contactless medium- low-power EVs e-cycles e-scooters. For achieving high-distance WPT vehicles which prone issues, series-series (SS) compensated used. The conventional SS-compensated uses a voltage-fed converter conversion. But combination these allows reverse current flow system, will affect life span source. To prevent this, blocking diode or current-fed can be Though problem solved, approaches seem reduce further. This article tries optimize converter-based SS-WPT achieve higher separation, tolerance than designs. input inductor primary coil tuned without affecting magnetic resonance condition. was found 94% at 200 mm, 20% more voltage source inverter-based, renewable energy-powered efficiency.
